Gearbox acquires 3D tech firm Captured Dimensions

Gearbox Software simply introduced the acquisition of Captured Dimensions for an undisclosed charge. The tech firm focuses on 3D seize and reconstruction companies, which Gearbox will use “to carry new inner growth capabilities to imminent Gearbox titles.”

Based in 2012, Captured Dimensions does scanning for props, places, and bodily performers. The studio’s work consists of movies (similar to Logan and Venom) and video video games, and Gearbox and 2K had been amongst its most current shoppers.
